Hibiki Manabe, a normal high school student, is suddenly taken to a fantasy world after a bright flash of light on his way to class. Hibiki quickly realizes that he is at a big disadvantage when he is alone in a huge plain full of monsters and separated from his classmates. His only skill, “Appraisal,” is a non-combat skill that doesn’t seem useful in such a dangerous situation at first.
But things quickly change from a dire situation. Hibiki begins to get used to his new home after the elf Emalia Steinbart saves him. He slowly puts together a party, gets allies, and learns how to use his special power to its fullest.
Hibiki goes on a journey to survive, get stronger, and eventually find a way back home as his seemingly weak skill starts to show its true potential.
