We Are All Trying is a Korean drama that depicts the difficulties, dreams, and emotional turmoil of individuals in the film industry. The story follows Hwang Dong-man, an aspiring director who has not yet made his official debut, but is still pursuing his dream, while trying to find a meaning to his career.
Joining him are equally complex characters like producer Byeon Eun-a, whose strict and sharp exterior conceals her inner insecurities, and director Park Kyeong-se, still reeling from the disappointment of a recent setback.
As their professional and personal lives continue to bleed into each other, tensions rise, emotions run high and relationships are tested more and more.
