Legends – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap, Review & Ending Explained

Legends Episode 6 kicks off with Carter unearthing Eddie’s painful past. He finds out that Eddie’s son committed suicide through drug overdose and confronts him immediately. Carter takes advantage of the emotional conversation to test Eddie’s loyalty, although Eddie admits he’s always been ashamed to talk about his son’s addiction. Carter plays the situation carefully, and Eddie is forced to reveal if he has been working with Customs secretly.

Carter Finds Eddie’s Deception

Eddie falls right into Carter’s trap and passes some key information to Bailey that results in Customs raiding the location. As the operation unfolds, Carter notices Bailey and instantly understands that Eddie has been feeding details to the police.

Carter didn’t wait around, he called Hakan to confirm that Eddie is a traitor, and that means the organization must change its plans right away. Soon after, Aziz contacts Guy, asking for a face-to-face meeting.

Carter then sends two armed men to kill Eddie, but Eddie escapes. Then he runs into Bailey and confirms that Carter knows the truth now. Eddie knows his family is in danger so he decides to leave Liverpool for a while. But he promises Bailey that once his family is safe, he’ll be back to deal with Carter himself.

The Guy Drops the Drug Shipment Slips

In the meantime, Guy is in Turkey, where Hakan and Aziz meet him to pick up the drugs. With Eddie exposed, the original plan cannot be carried out. Eventually Aziz persuades Guy to surrender the shipment.

Back in London, Angus is fuming at how much drugs have been allowed to circulate. The tension mounts as Guy and Bailey start blaming each other for the mission falling apart.

Kate suggests asking Goodwin for help but Angus is reluctant. Finally, Don suspends Guy and tells him to go home.

Guy Has Trouble Getting Back to Normal

Guy returns home to Sophie and attempts to reconnect with his family but it soon becomes apparent he can’t switch off from the mission.

Later, Guy sees one of the Turks watching him on the subway when he is out with Sophie and Lily in the city. Sophie senses danger and takes Lily away. Guy confronts the man and demands Hakan pay what he owes him.

Guy apologises to Sophie but she tells him he has to finish what he started before he can really come home. Her words inspire Guy to approach Don and request to be reinstated in the operation.

Bailey Finds Carter’s Achilles’ Heel

Elsewhere, Bailey poses as a lawyer and visits Goodwin. Then Bailey gently lures Goodwin into giving up valuable information, pretending to be Carter.

During the chat, Bailey learns that Carter is very protective of his mother. He tells Kate to dig deeper right away.

Soon Kate and Bailey find Carter’s mother and they eventually find Carter hiding at her house. His mother criticizes his chosen life and warns him that the Turks could betray him at any moment during their meeting. Get the drugs back quickly, she tells him. Show everyone exactly who he is, she tells him.

Carter Shifts Smuggling Route

Later, Carter meets privately with Hakan and asks about the shipment. Hakan says the drugs are currently in Yugoslavia and will be coming through Germany and France before reaching Britain by ferry.

Carter suggests leaving the drugs in Germany for his men to collect before the shipment reaches Britain.

Mylonas Assists Guy Reuniting With Turks

Guy, desperate to get back in the operation, asks Mylonas to help him connect with Hakan.

At first Mylonas says no, still sore about how he was treated in England. But in the end their friendship persuades him to help, knowing fully well Hakan may kill him for it.

When Guy returns, he praises Bailey’s work, and the team starts getting ready to intercept the shipment.

Angus is Not Closing Down Mission

Pressure is mounting and the Home Secretary orders Angus to shut down the operation, immediately.

No, says Angus. He says it would be reckless to abandon the mission with two tonnes of heroin so close to Britain. He firmly supports his team and calls for more time.

Meanwhile Kate and Bailey follow Carter’s mother as she travels by ferry to Hamburg. Erin admits that she speaks German and goes with the mission.

Carter’s mom sets up a hand-off of the drugs to Hakan’s transporter in Germany, but Erin manages to get local police to search the vehicle, halting the exchange.

The Guy Takes Charge of the Shipment

Guy later meets Aziz and suggests they go into business together in the future.

In the meantime, Carter tells Hakan that Customs interfered with his ability to pick up the drugs. As they run out of options, Guy offers to carry the shipment himself, arguing that Carter and Hakan are already being watched.

Hakan agrees, but only on one condition—Mylonas stays behind. He also warns Guy that if the shipment doesn’t get to Britain Mylonas will die.

Customs Risks on the High Seas

With no other alternative, Guy, Don, Bailey and Kate take the drugs to Britain by sea.

Erin keeps an eye on the weather as she guides them remotely. Aziz boards the boat in the Netherlands and reminds Guy that the shipment has to be in London in two days.

But a violent storm veers the boat off course and contact with Erin is lost.

Come morning, Angus tells Erin to trust the team, reassuring her.

Meanwhile Guy and the others abandon their battered ship and continue the journey in lifeboats. They tied the drugs to another raft and moved on to London.

Eventually they fire an SOS flare, rejoin Erin and Angus and prepare for the final handover.

Carter, Aziz and Hakan Fall Short

Outside the warehouse, Don and the team wait while Guy goes in alone to make the exchange.

Guy gives the goods to Hakan, takes the money and makes it look like a real transaction.

Moments later police raid the warehouse.

Aziz and Carter are arrested straight away, but Hakan escapes through the roof.

Hakan tries to escape but falls into Zeki’s old flat. Zeki’s mother sees Hakan and calls the police and they take him in.

How does Legends end Season 1?

Bailey calls Eddie after the surgery and tells him Carter has been arrested.

The two-tonne heroin shipment is successfully intercepted and the mission is officially a success.

Angus congratulates the team and dismisses them.

Kate, Erin and Bailey go out for drinks. Guy comes home to his family finally.

But even with the mission done, Guy can’t sleep easy, implying the emotional scars of going undercover can last long after the operation is over.

Review Episode.jpg

The sixth episode is a tense, action-filled conclusion that combines a few plot threads in dramatic fashion. The operation itself is ambitious and the sea sequence provides real suspense to the episode.

The constant shifting of alliances between Carter, Hakan, Aziz and Guy sometimes makes the story feel a little crowded. The final arrests, however, and Guy’s emotional ending provide a satisfying conclusion.

What makes the finale most interesting is that Guy can’t find peace even after the mission is done. That final moment absolutely hints that there are more stories to tell in future seasons of Legends.
