Cesare looks for a second book at Atilla’s house in Turin. Fourneau and Lieutenant Galli arrive and search the place thoroughly. In the end, they find the book in the chimney.
Lidia, Jacopo, and Fourneau get back together and look at the book again. They find pages that have been hollowed out and filled with receipts for large amounts of money linked to an operation called “15th March.” As Lidia works closely with Fourneau, things get tense between Jacopo and Fourneau.
A shootout breaks out when they finally find Mario. Lidia steps in and convinces him to cooperate by saying that Juvara will kill him when he is no longer useful. Mario tells the truth in exchange for protection and a shorter sentence.
What are Juvara and Filippo’s plans?
Mario admits that “15th March” is a code name for a planned coup during the presidential gala. Juvara wants to kill President Depretis and make it look like anarchists did it, so he can put his own government in place.
Anna sees a wine casket sent by the Turin bank as she gets ready for the gala. Filippo says that Enrico will hold a reception before the gala. Lidia and her team show up at that moment and start getting people out of the building while Fourneau looks for a bomb.

What happens at the end of Season 2?
In the end, Filippo Cravero and Juvara are arrested, but only for small crimes of corruption. Jacopo is determined to tell the truth, so he gets ready to publish the story. But Lieutenant Galli stops it from going to print.
Anna is heartbroken because she doesn’t know what Filippo did. Enrico comforts her and asks her to come to Rome with him as his advisor.
Lidia decides to stay in Turin. Fourneau, who is hopeful, teases that she might be staying for him. Even though she makes fun of him, he is truly grateful and decides to go through with the surgery, partly because she supports him.
