In the third episode of Bandi, Annabelle arrives at her location and passes through the luggage check without any problems. She meets Xhesus at the airport, and he brings her to a hotel. She sends Kingsley a text to make sure she’s in the proper area, but he doesn’t answer.
Xhesus later takes Annabelle out to supper and tells her how great she did the job. He leaves the table to phone his mom about getting medicine while they eat. Kingsley, on the other hand, tells him that meeting Xhesus will go well.
Kingsley also goes to see his younger siblings and finds out that Leo has put a video of Vincez’s shooting online. In a different place, Sherkhan’s mother shows him the same film. She tells him he shouldn’t involve kids in his company and then realizes that the boy in question is a Lafleur.
Marco tells Kylian about their operation and that they need to pay a 10% deposit by the next day. He says that the boss won’t put up with failure and will cut off even close friends without a second thought. Kylian should be OK as long as he keeps his word and pays on time.
Later, Fatso takes Kylian to Leo’s school, where he meets Kingsley. Kylian brings it up because he’s worried Sherkhan might put two and two together, but Kingsley doesn’t care. Kylian then tells Leo to log in and deactivate his Instagram account, saying that the video might get Kingsley killed and put his whole family in danger.
Xhesus, on the other hand, takes the pills for testing before paying, which makes Annabelle apprehensive. She asks for his number since she thinks something might go wrong.
Kylian talks to his father in prison about his demand for half of the profits. Kylian is angry at the threat to his family and fights back at first, but then he changes his mind and begs to keep the business deal. He sends his dad a picture of himself and Dylan, and then he goes to a grave. A flashback shows that Dylan once told Kylian to never allow anyone take advantage of him, which made Kylian even more stubborn. Milord was also Dylan’s gaming name, which is also known.
Annabelle gets worried when Xhesus can’t be reached again at the hotel. The front desk tells her that he only paid for one night, which makes her think she’s been cheated on. She lies and pretends everything is OK when King calls.
In another part of the story, Kingsley, Cassandra, and Ambre try to take over Marilyn’s business at the market, but they find that new owners are already there with a legitimate three-year permit that was given shortly after Marilyn died. Things get worse when Kylian and Marvin show there, and the police have to break up a brawl.
While Fatso is collecting money from their team, Sherkhan threatens Leo with a gun and talks to him about the video. Leo acts afraid and says he merely posted it to show off to his buddies. This makes Sherkhan let him go.
Things get worse when Sentinel, who was supposed to collect the money, flees with it. Kylian and his gang find him and break into his residence. Even though Sentinel’s pregnant girlfriend begs him not to, Kylian punishes him for being unfaithful.
Kylian then sends a note to his father in prison saying that he will only give him 5% of the profits from now on.
Annabelle ultimately tells King that Xhesus betrayed him, but it turns out that Xhesus only turned off his phone so the cops couldn’t find him. He comes back with the money, says he’s sorry, and tells her everything will be okay.
Later, Sherkhan goes up to Kingsley during a bike party. Sherkhan thinks Kingsley is being rude when he won’t come near him. Sherkhan chases him after the party, but Kingsley gets away. Sherkhan then puts up a reward online, promising $10,000 for information regarding Kingsley’s location.
JC reads the post and tells Kylian about it. Kylian visits Sherkhan to deal with the matter. He promises to pay for the stuff and even provides him a car as a deposit. He tells him to stop posting about their business online.
Kylian gives Marco a $64,000 security deposit by the end of the episode. He is advised to stay alive until he gets more instructions. He is happy that the business is moving forward, but his hope evaporates when JC says he won’t work with him anymore because of what Kingsley did.
Look over
This episode has a lot of suspense, especially in Annabelle’s story. She doesn’t know what to think about Xhesus, which makes the scene tense, but her choices keep making people wonder if she knows what she’s doing.
It’s evident that Kingsley’s irresponsible actions are starting to affect everyone around him, including Kylian. His fight with Sherkhan puts lives at risk and could ruin big commercial deals.
Leo’s actions make things much more dangerous. He made a big mistake by posting the video, and even though he might not completely understand what would happen, his actions could have major effects on the Lafleur family.
In general, Episode 3 does a good job of building tension in several narratives, showing how one incorrect choice can make a weak operation even weaker.
