In Episode 4 of Bandi, Annabelle comes home and meets Kylian. He picks up her bags and says that Kingsley sent him to do the delivery. In the meantime, things are still tense because JC won’t cooperate with Kylian and keeps him out.
It eventually becomes clear that Kylian never gave the money to Sherkhan as promised. Even though Sherkhan got the money, he still wants Kingsley to die. Fatso tells him to be careful and reminds him that Milord is now protecting Kingsley.
Kylian tries to fix matters with JC, but JC won’t keep their word. He thinks Kingsley is a real threat and thinks that cooperating with Kylian could get him in trouble with the law.
When Kingsley gets home, he angrily confronts Kylian and says he stole the money. He doesn’t believe Kylian’s story, so he follows him to his hostel and sneaks into his room. A fight breaks out, and even though Kingsley wants the money back, the noise draws the prefect’s attention, and he kicks Kingsley out. Kingsley takes Kylian’s phone and a burner phone with important information about the delivery and its location before he leaves.
Kingsley can’t figure out the phone’s codes, so he has a sleepless night that annoys Leo. Leo thinks that Kylian and Fatso might be working for Sherkhan, so he starts to look into it. He goes to Sherkhan’s pub pretending to look for job and finds out that Sherkhan thinks Kylian and Fatso are actually working for a dealer named Milord who is his competition.
Kingsley goes to see his younger siblings and Aunt Regine because he is so stressed out. While he was there, he learned about a terrible scenario with their uncle, who had gone into the bathroom naked while the youngest sister, Thais, was taking a shower. Kingsley is so angry that he takes the kids out of the house and threatens Aunt Regine. He tells her not to tell anyone about what he did, or he would tell the police about the uncle’s behavior.
Later, she tells him that Mathis has a CT scan scheduled at the hospital since he is getting dizzy, especially at night.
Marco’s crew is late on the day of the delivery, which causes problems between Kylian and Ludo, one of his men. Ludo thinks the cartel is trying to hurt Kylian, but the products actually show up, so he has to take back what he said and say he’s sorry. They set aside some of the items for local distribution before moving everything to a warehouse in a secluded highland area.
A group of tourists accidently finds their way into the warehouse where they work. Kylian holds them at gunpoint, takes pictures of their passports, and then lets them go.
At the same time, the older Lafleur siblings get together to talk about how to help the family pay for things, such Mathis’s medical treatment. Kingsley is still angry with Kylian, but Marvin and Ambre think Kylian did the right thing.
Later, Kylian brings up the kids from school and confronts Aunt Regine when she tries to take them. This time, he remains firm and tells her to stay away. He also tightens his grip on the local market by deploying his men to scare out a competitor.
Leo keeps following Fatso because he wants to find a link to Milord. Even after being caught and embarrassed, he keeps going, displaying incredible bravery even though it’s dangerous.
Kylian still has trouble getting people to work together at the docks, but after looking into JC, he finds out that there is a disagreement between JC and his business partner, Saint-Rose. Kylian uses this to his advantage by pretending to make a deal with JC’s competition, which makes JC feel like he has to cooperate with him. The strategy works, and that night they are able to bring the goods to the dock without anyone knowing it was a shipment of food.
Kingsley breaks into Fatso’s flat at the last minute. He finds papers that connect JC and Kylian through an internship agreement. He also opens the burner phone and finds messages from Milord. At the same time, Kylian and his crew watch their shipment leave for Paris, which is a big success.
Review of the Episode
This episode raises the stakes a lot, especially for Kingsley, who can’t seem to keep out of trouble. Leo’s decision to send Leo to spy on dangerous people like Fatso shows how desperate and reckless he has become.
Leo, on the other hand, is known for being fearless. He doesn’t hesitate to face significant threats, but his activities are becoming more and more dangerous, and it appears like there will be consequences.
A big change happens when Kingsley learns something about Milord. When the truth comes out, it will probably make things worse between him and Kylian, which might affect the whole family.
The episode deals with a troubling and delicate problem on a larger scale: how families make bad behavior seem normal. The aunt’s attempt to defend her husband’s acts is really disturbing, which makes Kingsley’s reaction seem right.
It’s nice to watch the bigger siblings step up and defend the little ones at the same time. Their togetherness gives them a strong emotional contrast to the chaos around them.
The drama is clearly building toward a big fight in the next few episodes, with tensions increasing and secrets coming out.
