In the first scene of Episode 7 of Bandi, Kingsley and his friends arrive at Margot’s apartment early in the morning with a lot of drugs they got from Alex Croquette. Kingsley brings everything inside because he can’t find a safe place to hide it. Before he spends the night there, he gives his friends a piece of the product. Margot gets an email the next morning telling her that she has a large debt that needs to be paid right away.
In the meantime, Alex gives Sherkhan CCTV footage from the night of the robbery. Sherkhan quickly figures out that Kingsley Lafleur is one of the criminals and gets very angry. Alex tells him to take care of the problem.
Kylian picks up Fatso from the airport, but Annabelle isn’t with him. She stayed in Paris longer to spend more time with Xhesus. Later, they pay Marco, who tells them that the next shipment will be much bigger and will need a $500,000 upfront payment and a security deposit.
Marco gives them cards with the names of his family members on them and asks them to pick one as collateral. He likes younger people better because he thinks they are easier to control than older people.
Fatso and his team are still angry that Kylian’s family is getting in the way of the business. He says they should divide their shares and go their own ways. Because of the ongoing problems, JC is also hesitant to keep working with Kylian. The stakes are much higher now that there are 2,200 units on the line. He tells Kylian to stay away from any liabilities if he needs to.
At the same time, Marvin and Chloe try to get a loan but are turned down. Marvin is angry and storms back to their home that burned down. Ambre tries to make him feel better, and he starts to think about taking Kylian’s money to fix the house and bring their siblings back together.
Marvin finally agrees to meet with Kylian, who already has the money he needs for repairs but needs a way to clean it. He asks Marvin if he can use his gardening app for this, and Marvin reluctantly agrees.
Sherkhan goes to the market looking for Kingsley, but he only finds Cassandra. Sherkhan cuts off her hair as a warning when she says she doesn’t know where Kingsley is. He says he will go after the family if Kingsley doesn’t show up soon.
Kingsley responds by making the fight much worse in a shocking and brutal way, making it clear that he and Sherkhan are now at war.
While this is going on, Margot makes friends with a woman at the loan office, not knowing that Sherkhan sent her to keep an eye on Kingsley. Kingsley also gets in touch with Xhesus to help him get rid of the drugs. Xhesus talks to someone named Doc, and their conversation makes it sound like they want to take advantage of the growing tension between Kingsley and Kylian to make money.
Later, Marvin finds out that Sherkhan is actively hunting Kingsley and tells Kylian. Kylian tries to get rid of Sherkhan to keep Kingsley and the family safe, but the plan fails when Sherkhan’s daughter unexpectedly steps in.
Someone else comes up to Ambre at work and offers to make her music. She seems unsure and knows him well, but she agrees to the deal because her family is having money problems and asks for payment up front.
When she gets home, she finds out that Marvin has already taken Kylian’s money and hired a team to fix things up. She is heartbroken by his choice because she thinks it goes against their values.
Kylian and Marvin agree to give Leo as a security deposit to get the next shipment from Marco. Leo is excited to be involved, but he doesn’t know what it all means.
Earlier, Margot had tried to get the woman from the loan office to be Kingsley’s mule by meeting her at a bar. Sherkhan, on the other hand, tracks their location and shows up, starting a violent shootout. Kingsley shoots and kills Sherkhan in the midst of the chaos.
Review of the Episode
Sherkhan starts the fight, but it ends with Kingsley killing him. This may seem like a solution, but it makes things much worse. A public shootout will definitely get the police’s attention, which will put Kingsley under a lot of scrutiny and could put Kylian’s operations in danger. It also makes things riskier for Leo, who is now directly connected to the business.
At the same time, Ambre seems to be losing ground as her other siblings get more and more involved in the drug trade. The fight is even pulling in Leo, the youngest.
One of the best parts of the episode is how it shows how fragile life is in this setting. Young people get into dangerous situations where small fights can quickly turn into deadly ones. The never-ending quest for power and control makes us wonder if any of it is really worth the cost.
