50 Cent’s Fightland Is Bringing Blood Power Plays and Brutal Consequences to STARZ 2026

STARZ has dropped the first teaser for their new crime drama, Fightland, promising a hard-hitting mix of boxing, family drama and criminal intrigue. Executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson the series is set in the high-stakes world of British boxing where ambition, loyalty and revenge collide in explosive fashion.

Howard Charles stars as the central character Duke Kilroy. Duke’s life seems to be at its best when he wins the world heavyweight championship. But his victory does not last long. He wins boxing glory, but tragedy strikes the same night when his brother is murdered in a violent attack. This triggers events that change his life forever.

The fallout lands Duke in a U.S. prison where he spends eight years behind bars. When he finally returns to London he is determined to find out the truth about the events that destroyed his family and derailed his future. Duke is sure he was taken down by powerful people in the boxing world and starts a dangerous search for answers.

His investigation takes him to Kingsley Marshall, a feared criminal and former boxing promoter, played by Nicholas Pinnock. But Kingsley’s disappearance leaves a power vacuum, throwing his family and business empire into chaos. Joy Marshall (Deborah Ayorinde) is in the frame, Duke’s ex-lover with a complicated history.

More than a story about the sport itself, Fightland is a story about power, corruption, and survival in the world of boxing. Duke’s return isn’t just for redemption; it’s a calculated mission to infiltrate the criminal network he believes is responsible for his brother’s death. The further he goes the more the line between justice and vengeance gets blurrier.

The series stars a talented ensemble cast including Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Charles Babalola, Tahirah Sharif, Tyler Conti and Richard Pepple. Behind the camera, the drama is directed by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith with Damione Macedon and Raphael Jackson Jr serving as executive producers.

Fightland is also a major milestone for Jackson and G-Unit Film & Television. The project represents his first fully owned series developed for STARZ, highlighting the company’s expanding international ambitions and dedication to producing large-scale drama with worldwide appeal.

Early footage shows that Fightland will offer more than just boxing action. The series seems to touch on loyalty, betrayal, family legacy and the constant chase for power. Get ready for a tense, unpredictable ride as criminal empires clash behind the scenes, and the story is fueled by personal vendettas.

Fightland premieres July 31 on STARZ, with new episodes airing each week. The series looks to be one of the most intense and gripping dramas the network has had this year, based on the first teaser.
