The fantasy-romance K-drama My Royal Nemesis continues to provide plenty of laughs, chaos and romantic tension as it heads into its final stretch. Next week, with episode 10, viewers will be treated to the development of the growing connection between Kang Dan-sim and Cha Se-gye as new mysteries about their past lives begin to emerge.## A Strange Mix of Fantasy and Romance
The drama revolves around Shin Seo-ri, an actress who is struggling with her career, and her life is turned upside down when she is possessed by the spirit of Kang Dan-sim, one of the most notorious women of the Joseon Dynasty.
Dan-sim had climbed the royal court as a feared consort centuries ago, known for her intelligence, ambition and manipulative nature. Her story should have ended with a death sentence. Instead, her soul wakes up in modern-day Seoul inside Seo-ri’s body.
Dan-sim cannot blend into modern society quietly and she causes chaos wherever she goes. Her royal ways and sharp tongue often put her at odds with Cha Se-gye, the rich heir to the powerful Chail Group. What starts as a series of hilarious confrontations slowly turns into an unexpected romance.

The next episode looks like it’s going to bring the Se-gye and Kang relationship even further.
The preview starts with Se-gye calling Kang by her name, Seo-ri and warmly addressing her which surprises her. Later on, he introduces her to Dal-su and she immediately tries to win his favor.
In the meantime, Se-gye gets furious when she hears Kang will be shooting a romantic scene for her historical drama project. Wanting to change that, he intervenes and replaces the scene with a more empowering one, making Kang the center of attention.
As their relationship grows, Kang thanks Se-gye for his support, and a playful exchange hints at the deepening of their romantic feelings.
Elsewhere, Mun-do is in a bind when a patient disappears suddenly. Meanwhile, Se-gye talks about his recurring dreams of Prince Cheongheong. Kang proposes that these visions are not dreams, but pieces of real memories from a previous life.
Romance, mystery and the secrets of reincarnation all come to a head in Episode 10, which is shaping up to be one of the most pivotal chapters of the season yet.
