Welcome back to Replaced. After the lab incident, Chapter 7 takes you back to the Safe Zone, where you can do side quests, collect items, and complete optional activities before progressing the story.
Chapter Objectives, Collectibles, and Missables
This guide will help you finish the chapter quickly by covering every objective, collectible, and puzzle. Be careful not to progress too far, as you can miss scans, music tracks, and upgrades. Explore thoroughly before moving on.
Entering the Safe Zone – Initial Scans & Interactions
At the beginning of the chapter, leave the hospital on the left. Scan #75: Friendly Note is near the camper. Head further left outside the Safe Zone to find Scan #76: The Council’s Message.
Return toward the entrance and interact with the sign on the right to collect Scan #77: Child’s Rhyme.
Near the elevator to Yo-Yo’s lab, interact with Cat #3 to unlock the Sad Cats achievement.
Side Quest: The Biggest Fan – Full Walkthrough
To begin, go to Tempest’s pad to the right of Cat #3 and interact with the coffee table in front of the yellow couch.
Music Tracks Locations in Chapter 7
Pick up Music Track #9: Second Chance from the next room, followed by Music Track #10: No Tomorrow in the adjacent room.
Near the Zone of Exchange, collect Music Track #11: Void.
Tempest-Man Comics – All Scan Locations
At the balcony near the train station, collect Scan #78: “The Tempest-Man Flies” (Comic #1).
Check the generator on the way to the hospital for Scan #79: “The Red Nuke” (Comic #2).
Under the stairs on the far right, find Scan #80: “Love and Masks” (Comic #3).
At the bar, grab Scan #81: “From The Ashes” (Comic #4) from the purple table.
Near the arcade, get Scan #83: High Stakes (Comic #5).
In Yo-Yo’s lab alcove, find Scan #86: The Ultimate Sacrifice (Comic #6).
Additional Scans and Key Collectibles
At the bar, collect Scan #82: Termite Lair Is Gone near Ironwood.
In Yo-Yo’s lab, interact with the news terminal to unlock Scan #84: Wall Conspiracy Forum and Scan #85: R.E.A.C.H Is Our Future.
Arcade Challenge & Rewards
Visit the arcade and play Game #3. Beating the high score rewards you with Adrenaline Injector #1 and contributes toward the Old School achievement.
Completing “The Biggest Fan” Quest
Return to Tempest’s pad and interact with the coffee table again to complete the quest. You will receive Balance Unit #1 and unlock “The Biggest Fan” achievement.
Phone Booth Interaction
After completing the quest, go to the nearby old phone booth to trigger an additional interaction.
Sandra’s Request – Side Quest Guide
Return to the Safe Zone and speak with Sandra near the stairs leading to the bar.
Yo-Yo’s Lab Puzzle Solution & Database Hack
Head to Yo-Yo’s lab and review all files. To hack the console, select “Infiltrate Integrated Database” followed by “Check PCPD ID Card.”
This unlocks Scan #88: Trooper’s File and Scan #89: Trooper’s Diary.
Completing Sandra’s Quest & Rewards
Go outside and talk to Berty. After the cutscene, return to Sandra to finish the quest. You will receive Genetic Profile #8 and unlock the Look-Alike achievement.
How to Leave the Safe Zone – Chapter Completion
Once everything is complete, go to the train station and speak with the Matriarch. Choose “Farewell,” then interact with the flying car to leave the Safe Zone.
Chapter 7 Ending & Achievement Unlock
This completes Chapter 7 and unlocks the New Horizons achievement.
