The season finale of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder begins with Pip talking to the girl Elliot has been hiding. Her name is Isla, the girl says. She explains that Elliot brought her home years ago thinking she was Andie Bell.
Isla tells Pip that Elliot soon worked out that she wasn’t Andie, but by then it was too late. As police started treating Sal as a suspect, she says, Elliot confessed to killing him. Elliot also used Naomi’s diary to learn about the hit and run accident that involved Max, Jake and Naomi.
Armed with that information, Elliot blackmailed them into changing their statements about Sal’s alibi. Then he drugged Sal and choked him in his car to make it look like suicide. When Isla found out the truth she tried to run but Elliot caught her and kept her hidden away for five years.## What Will Become of Elliot Ward?
Elliot is taken into custody and Isla gets medical help at last. Pip returns home, disturbed by everything she has learned. A few days later she takes down her murder board, convinced Sal’s name is finally cleared.
Later Pip meets Ravi, who tells her his family feels a sense of relief at last, after years of public shame. Pip is ready to tell Ravi how she feels about him, but he tells her that he is leaving Little Kilton to make a fresh start, get a job and go to college.
Meanwhile Pip tries to support Cara after Elliot’s arrest. Pip and her friends make sure that Cara doesn’t feel isolated because of her father’s crimes at school.# Did Elliot murder Barney?
Pip has a breakdown at home, blaming herself for ruining Cara’s life. Leanne, her mother, tells her Elliot is responsible for what he does. She also tells Pip that she was instrumental in freeing the Singh family and saving Isla from a life of captivity.
Leanne then tells her that Elliot still hasn’t come clean about killing Andie. It makes Pip think back to the threatening messages she’d received during the investigation. She realises that the texts were from someone else and Elliot was the only one who had put the note under her pillow.
Pip checks Cara’s social media and finds out that the Ward family was out of town at the time of Barney’s murder. This proves that Elliot didn’t kill Pip’s dog. Pip discovers that the person who really killed Andie also killed Barney.#Who Attacked Becca Bell?
Pip goes to visit Elliot in prison and asks him about his crimes. Elliot said Andie was after his money because her father Jason Bell had a grip on her. He also says he saw Jason driving his blue van the night Andie disappeared.
A new clue turns up and Pip searches Jason’s garage. Jason catches her snooping, but Jesse, the girl who saved her at the calamity party, helps her. Jesse tells Pip that Becca Bell was raped at a party in 2019, not long before Andie and Sal died.
This is linked to a note hidden in Andie’s soft toy. She learns that a client named “TT” purchased Rohypnol from Andie. Pip learns that Max is T.T., and records him admitting to sleeping with Becca when she was drunk.# Who Murdered Andie Bell?
Pip goes to the Bell house to find Becca. FLASHBACK Andie comes home injured after leaving Elliot’s house. Present. Becca lets Pip in and spikes her tea.
Max assaulted Becca at the party, Becca says. She told Andie, who told her to keep quiet because she sold Max the drugs. Becca felt like she’d been stabbed in the back, especially since Andie was leaving town the next day.
The sisters argued and Andie was struck on the head in the fight. Becca says she saw Andie die from choking on her own vomit. Andie hid her body then.
Pip tries to persuade Becca that she still can report what Max did, but Becca thinks powerful people like Max never face consequences. Becca takes Pip to the place she hid Andie’s body. Pip realizes she’s been drugged with Rohypnol.# Do Pip & Ravi End Up Together?
Ravi decides he is not leaving town after all. He sees Pip’s car outside the Bell house and knows something is wrong. He meets Cara and they track Pip’s location together.
They arrive at the septic tank as Becca is about to shove Pip in. Pip fights back, Ravi and Cara save her just in time.
A final flashback shows Sal and Andie meeting at school the night she disappeared. Andie tells Sal that Jason took her money. Sal promises to help her earn enough money to go to Oxford. The scene shows that Sal and Andie were in love.# Ending Explained
In the final scene Pip’s mother reads her EPQ and is proud of her work. Pip tells her that she doesn’t want to go to Cambridge because her biological father did. Finally Leanne accepts that Pip should make her own future.
Later, Pip meets Max. He tries to defend himself, but Pip calls him a rapist and vows to make him pay for what he did to Becca, and for his part in the hit and run cover-up.
Pip meets Ravi by the lake. The season is over. Ravi begins to tell him about a new pizza place but Pip kisses him to shut him up. The finale ends with the relationship finally moving forward.# Review of Episode 6
It has an intense, emotional and full of revelations finale. The episode answers the biggest questions about Sal Singh and Andie Bell, but leaves enough tension unanswered to allow for a possible second season.
The best thing about the finale is that it vindicates Sal. The show makes it clear Sal was never the monster people thought he was. His final scene with Andie adds a tragic dimension to their relationship and suggests that their love was real.
The episode also shows Elliot as someone who made terrible choices over and over. He is not portrayed as misunderstood or unlucky. He chose to kill, to manipulate, to frame Sal and to imprison Isla.
The finale is also more heart-wrenching for Andie’s story. The show humanizes her more and shows that she was not just a careless or selfish girl. She was caught by her father, wanting to escape, caught in a precarious situation that ended in tragedy.
Becca’s confession is yet another painful twist. Her actions are inexcusable, but the episode shows how trauma, fear, and silence wrecked the lives of both sisters. Max remains one of the most disturbing characters on the show, and Pip’s resolution to take him down sets up a nice road for a potential Season 2.
