Deli Boys Season 2 Episode 5 begins with a qawwalli session from a few years ago when Ahmad had hair and Lucky’s hair was short. Lucky and Ahmad have been in the crime business for years now. Mir: My father wants to talk to Lucky aunty about business expansion. Ahmad looks hurt.
Back to the present. Lucky starts attacking Ahmad. She stops. Mir talks sense to her. The trio maps a plan for clearing Raj’s name. Lucky force feeds Ahmad some chutney. He’s willing to confess, but only if he gets $500,000 to get to another country.

Sugar sees Chadwater sitting proudly in the chair in the casino. He offers booze, but Chadwater asks for milk, “straight.”
During this, Ahmad spills the beans about Sugar, warning the Dars. Chadwater asks for all the information on the Dars from Sugar as he claims to have found every inch of Sugar’s money laundering business.
Ahmad remembers Sugar’s tricks for attracting women and Lucky is horrified. Sugar, meanwhile, is happy to give up the Dars in return for total immunity. Chadwater agreed and they arranged to meet at Chadwater’s office in an hour.
Raj and Mir let Ahmad go and he bangs the counters as he walks causing a hammer to hit his head. Sugar prepares to leave the country with his daughter. Raj and Mir try to stem the bleeding of Ahmad.
Lucky calls Matthew about Ahmad and asks to let her kill him again. She wants Matthew to trail Max and report back to her. Raj and Mir are panic-stricken about Ahmad’s health.
Sugar meets his daughter to get away for the weekend and she agrees, though reluctantly They drive to their farm but Matthew is following. Sugar intends to smuggle his daughter out of the country the following day, but he does not disclose the real reason to her. Matthew mistakenly thinks the girl with Sugar is his girlfriend. Lucky believes him.
She leaves Ahmad in the hands of Raj and Mir. Mir was afraid Ahmad would rat out their business. Ahmad takes us down memory lane about his early days with Baba. He says he was just doing business when he did what he did to Baba.
Raj and Ahmad talk heart to heart and get to the hospital. Ahmad collapses outside the hospital and authorities confirm his identity. Raj and Mir leave for the golf club meeting.
Lucky and Matthew are watching Sugar. Chadwater soon arrives. Lucky and Matthew are caught by security but these Amish are not non-violent. One guard shoots an arrow at Matthew. Lucky kills both guards.
Reza meets with Raj and Mir for the meeting Mir panics at Reza’s threat to mess with them if they don’t go through with the deal. Raj doses Mir up with drugs, and Mir changes his demeanor instantly. He makes a good pitch and the board agrees. Mir dances around. A pack of drugs slides on the table.
Sugar and Chadwater meet at the farm, where Lucky overhears their conversation. Sugar and Chadwater strike a deal to bring down the DarCo. Sugar admits to faking the robbery at the deli to get her confidence up.
Raj and Mir are in a panic about the drugs but the board approves of the drugs. The board members of the golf club party with drugs and booze. Lucky attempts to shoot Sugar, but his daughter appears in the doorway as he is about to pull the trigger.
Review: The Episode
Well, Max Sugar certainly was a hated sugar in the lives of Lucky and the Dars! He wanted to protect himself, like any criminal would. The drug-fueled partying of the golfclub members exposes the hypocrisy of the elite, who hide behind a glossy exterior to hide their reality.
Ali Sethi’s cameo as the singer at the start of the episode was a nice touch. The makers have dragged popular names for a show which revolves around Pakistani individuals. Plus, episode 5 has set the tone for the finale and it looks like there will be a chaos!
