My Royal Nemesis is the newest Korean romantic comedy to hit the waves. It has fantasy, romance and comedy all wrapped up in one fun package. The plot revolves around the chance meeting of Shin Seo-Ri, a struggling actress who suddenly finds herself possessed by the spirit of one of the Joseon era’s most notorious women, and Cha Se-Gye, the cold and arrogant heir to one of South Korea’s most powerful business empires.
Kang Dan-Sim was feared throughout Joseon centuries ago as the cunning seductress who climbed her way to being a royal concubine, only to be sentenced to death by poison. But instead of dying, her soul inexplicably wakes up in the body of an aspiring actress named Shin Seo-Ri in present-day Seoul.

But she is still a noblewoman of Joseon with the habits and manners that make her stand out wherever she goes. Her sharp tongue, her fearless attitude, her unorthodox behavior quickly put her directly in the way of Cha Se-Gye, the ruthless heir to Chail Group.
From the moment they meet, the two constantly clash and sparks fly. But as their bitter rivalry grows more heated, unexpected feelings begin to surface, creating a tumultuous yet riveting love story between a reincarnated villainess and the only man brave enough to take her on.
