Their unofficial investigation leads them back to the area of the renovations where suspicious footprints indicate someone may have been there recently. But before they can look at the evidence, a sudden fire alarm forces everyone to evacuate, abruptly ending their search.## Affairs, Blackmail, and Secret Motives
Another scandal is brewing behind closed doors, as the search for Celia continues.
Leo and Felipe get a threatening message that demands money in exchange for silence about their secret relationship. Leo fears that their affair is about to be exposed, while Felipe feels that the threat is nothing but an empty bluff.
Felipe suggests it would be better to find out who is behind the scheme rather than pay. Too bad for them, the blackmailer is all too real.
The mastermind is Alicia, who sees an opportunity to profit from their secret. Jaen gets involved, and her manipulation gets even more convoluted until he eventually learns the truth and takes his own share of the money to buy his silence.
The entire subplot demonstrates how many characters at the resort are more worried about protecting themselves than helping to find a missing young woman.# Dani and Helena Pursue a New Lead
As they investigate, Dani and Helena see maintenance worker Armando acting suspicious. They find him hiding a bag, and become convinced that he might somehow be involved in Celia’s disappearance.
But when they do find him, the truth isn’t quite so sinister as they might have thought.
The jewelry inside the bag isn’t stolen. Instead, Armando has been quietly selling off unclaimed items from the resort’s lost-and-found collection for extra cash. It’s unethical but it’s got nothing to do with Celia.
But Armando does reveal one important thing: he found Celia’s glasses by the pool.
He was scared his criminal record would make him look guilty and so he never reported the evidence to police. This clears him as a suspect, but raises another troubling question – what really went on near the pool?The Relationship Drama Continues To spiral
Elsewhere, the resort’s romantic entanglements become messier.
Leo grows to love Felipe, but then he is brought back down to reality with a painful reality check. Felipe makes it clear that his family will always be his priority and that they are only together on vacations. Honest to the point of brutality, it leaves Leo devastated.
Leo turns his attention to Felipe’s son, Jon, for revenge. This can start as spite and become an even bigger disaster if they continue to interact.
Meanwhile, Pablo is torn between Maca and Sofia. He promises over and over to fix his relationship with Maca, but still secretly sees Sofia. Things get even more complicated when Sofia intentionally leaves behind clues that could expose the affair.
It seems as though every character is hell-bent on making their problems worse, not better.# A Family in Trouble
One of the most shocking moments of the episode is Luis’s response to his daughter going missing.
Celia is still missing, and possibly in danger, but Luis carries on with hotel business with an almost unnatural calm. He’s working on the investigation and taking care of the day-to-day business as if everything is under control.
His demeanor seems strangely tranquil for the situation. The reason for this behavior – whether emotional control, denial, or something more sinister – is unclear, but it is cause enough for questioning.
At the same time, Helena seems truly worried about Celia and her family, and is therefore one of the few characters who still puts the crisis before anything else.# The Greatest Discovery So Far
Later in the episode Dani and Helena return to the pool area and continue looking for evidence.
Their hard work pays off when they discover a phone in the water. Helena manages to distract the officers and hide the device just as the police discover the find.
The discovery could potentially be the biggest breakthrough in the investigation so far.
Another mystery is added when several times an unknown person is seen watching Dani and Helena from a distance. The mysterious figure seems to know more about Celia’s disappearance than anyone knows.
The last moments of the episode have the biggest twist yet.
The mysterious watcher enters a secret place where it is revealed that Celia is alive, bound and imprisoned.
For the first time since her disappearance, viewers know the truth: Celia has not escaped and she has not left the resort. Someone is holding her captive on purpose.# Summary
Episode 3 helps to push the main mystery along, and confirms that Celia is still alive. The final reveal has some real tension and raises the stakes for everyone involved.
The biggest frustration remains the investigation itself. The resort is locked down . There are multiple clues on the property . How are the police so ineffective ? Dani and Helena continue to do more on their own than the official investigation.
The episode also is packed with relationship drama, blackmail schemes and personal conflicts. While some of these storylines provide entertainment, they occasionally overshadow the urgency of Celia’s disappearance.
Still, the closing scene changes everything. With confirmation that Celia is being held captive somewhere inside the resort, Oasis finally delivers the suspenseful breakthrough the story needed.
