Before Celia can process all that she has learned, Inspector Sandra arrives. The officer quickly escalates it into a hostage situation, using Celia as leverage against Luis.
The revelation confirms what viewers have always suspected: Sandra’s been running the investigation from the beginning, quietly looking out for her own interests.
Her plan quickly spirals into something even more dangerous .# Leo’s Lie Crumbles at Last
Elsewhere, Leo tries to put a stop to the madness that has enveloped her and Felipe.
She creates a story with Maca that moves the focus away from the truth. The plan works for a while but tension explodes when Felipe is confronted.
The aftermath reveals years of mismanagement and manipulation. In the course of the argument, one of the big lies that Leo has been maintaining is finally broken when she admits she was never pregnant.
Though the confrontation appears to be over, the final scenes hint that Jon may already be privy to a whole lot more than he admits. A telling photograph shows he knows the real truth of Leo and Felipe’s relationship, but chooses not to act on it.Laura Discovers a Painful Family Secret
But Laura’s story takes another unexpected turn when she and Oliver get their hands on her grandmother Esperanza’s private documents.

Oliver quickly uses this information to pressure Esperanza to step aside and give Laura more control of the family business. His actions seem supportive at first but the episode gradually exposes a different side of his character.

One of the lighter story lines has a surprisingly happy ending.
Sofia and Maca both decide Pablo just isn’t worth the drama anymore. So instead of battling for his attention, they opt to work on themselves and their own future happiness.
Pablo also starts to think about his own mistakes, demonstrating that maybe some personal growth is finally happening with the younger characters.# The Duel in the Desert
The desert is the location of the episode’s biggest sequence.
Sandra arranges a meeting with Luis and soon has him in her power. She knocks him out, puts Celia in the trunk of his car, and tries to drive it off a cliff.
And then, just when all seems lost, Dani and Helena arrive.
They intervene and rescue Celia, and a tense chase across the desert follows. As their vehicle starts to break down, the group shelters in nearby ruins and tries to find a way to call for help.
This is the most action-packed sequence in the episode. Dani, Helena and Celia team up to outfox Sandra as they wait for back-up to arrive.
The standoff eventually comes to a head when police officers arrive at the scene and Sandra loses control of the situation.# Oasis Ending Explanation

The closing scenes concentrate on Dani, Helena and Celia enjoying the rest of their summer together. They’ve been through so much and now they finally get to chill out and move on.# Final review.
Oasis concludes its central mystery with lots of action but the resolution is disappointingly predictable. Inspector Sandra’s reveal as the mastermind was probably seen coming a mile away by many viewers before the finale.
The biggest issue is that Sandra can get away with suspicion so easily, even when she is surrounded by law enforcement. That the whole police operation should miss such obvious clues is a stretch of credibility and weakens the mystery.
Some of the side stories are also hastily concluded. Leo’s affair, Oliver’s manipulation and Pablo’s personal growth never feel fully developed, so their resolutions have less impact than they should.
Still, Oasis is an easy and entertaining watch even with its flaws. It’s a quick-moving show, with the drama coming fast and with enough twists to keep you interested. It’s not going to be one of the year’s stand-out thrillers, but viewers wanting a simple mystery spiced with plenty of soap-opera drama will probably find it entertaining enough to carry them to the end.
