Outlander Season 8 Episode 9 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

A look at Outlander Season 8
After the shocking events of Season 7, when Faith may have been alive all along, Outlander is back. Season 8 is mostly based on Diana Gabaldon’s eighth book, Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. It may also use parts of the ninth book to finish the story.

The story continues with Jamie and Claire Fraser as their daughter Brianna comes from the future with a book written by Claire’s first husband, historian Frank Randall. The book tells a scary prophecy: Jamie will die at the Battle of King’s Mountain, which was a very important battle in the American Revolution.

Claire tells Jamie not to fight because she wants to change fate. But the Fraser family has learned time and time again that destiny is hard to avoid.
