Welcome to our full walkthrough guide for 007 First Light. This walkthrough includes all major objectives in the Prologue chapter, all collectibles, stealth solutions and easiest ways through combat encounters.

The game does have optional exploration moments and smaller story scenes, but this guide focuses on the main chapter objectives as presented in the game’s mission structure. We’ll also point out all the collectables during the opening mission so you don’t miss a thing on your first run.

Against All Odds

The Prologue starts with a short cinematic sequence, and a few quick-time events. Some prompts are optional, meaning that if you fail them, the story continues.

Push the left analog stick three times when prompted to continue.

After the opening sequence, Bond washes up on a beach. Go and crawl through the little gap between the stones. Proceed forward and you will find a wounded pilot on the beach. Soon after the enemy soldiers arrive, and the game introduces its stealth mechanics.

When told, hide behind the rocks. Then sneak behind the soldiers and move up the beach path carefully.

Before going much further watch out for another guard near the mouth of the cave.

Go forward along the path, ducking behind rocks to avoid the bullets coming in. Don’t go up right away, jump across the water and go into the tall grass nearby. Bond crouched unnoticed in the grass.

Eventually Bond’s radio starts going haywire. Press Y/Triangle to end the interference and then head for the distant rocks.

Find the camp

After the next cutscene, your objective is to find the enemy camp.

This section is a basic tutorial on climbing and traversing. Mostly it’s a linear route but there are some sections where you can choose between lower paths or higher cliff routes. Both roads converge eventually.

Bond spots the Icelandic camp in the distance and, while crossing the cliffside, slips and falls below.

Sprint toward some tall grass from the landing area through the shallow water. Here the enemies will not hear splashing, so speed is no issue.

Hide in the grass until two guards checking explosives go by. Clear the area and run past them, then climb through the open window in front of you.

Look Around the Room

There are a few optional interactables in the room.

On the right is an MI6 briefcase. There is an SMG behind the bathroom door, biometrically locked.

Your main goal is the body on the floor. Check out the corpse, and exit via the door beside the bunk beds.

Go to the next cabin and look at the radio directly ahead. Other optional items also include:

A patch on the bag, on the left.
A torn page on the right
A rocket launcher sitting on a table

As they leave a BT-65 transport crashes close by.

When the soldiers ask for Bond’s help, forget the objective for the time being. Instead pick up the shelf on the right to get:

1 Collectible Card 7 Acorns

Collect them and go to the laptop next to the transport and interact with it.

Examine the Crash Site

Follow the path towards the tent with the yellow flap and go inside.

Go straight until you come to a room where everything is covered in white tarps. Grab the crashed device and look around it. Open all three crates for the onboard computer.

Once the enemies are dead, go through the nearby red door and grab the antidote from the First Aid station on the back wall.

This is followed by a quick-time event where Bond has to inject both antidotes. You might miss the prompt, but the sequence keeps going automatically.

Go back outside and follow the guards up the cliffs until you can see the camp below.

Rescue of the Hostages

The camp looks complicated at first but the mission is surprisingly simple when you get the hang of the layout.

Drop down the first ledge, and get into the tall grass below you.

Go to the yellow box and deploy the flares. As the distraction is still active , enter the nearby doorway marked ” 66 ” .

Hide behind the crates while the soldiers investigate the flares. When they go out run to the G9 building.

Go around the back, rather than through the front. There are two guards back there.

Close by, an SAS radio rests on a pile of crates. Use it to draw one guard away from his post. Go up to him and press X/Square to take him out silently. Sneak up on the second guard and kill him as well.

Enter the G9 building and kill the guard there.

Gather at the desk:

Memento One: Satellite Part

Engage with the injured soldier on the floor to get the keycard, unlock the next room and free the hostages.

Go through the door beside the desk. A BT-65 control station on the left side. Use it to propel the transport crashing forward and distract nearby enemies.

When the guards come to investigate, drop down and use the console next to the F2 door to lower the security shutters.

Go in the building and kill the guard that is inside there. Enemies outside will not react giving you enough time to climb the stacked crates next to the B4 structure.

Climb up on the roof and down the ladder into the building below. Kill another guard inside and talk to the hostages to get the detonator.

Before you go out of the camp take up the rest of the things:

Legacy #1: Cruciform Key – Located inside the F8 container on the wall
Postcard #1: Iceland Inside the B2 container on the desk after killing the enemy nearby

Gather everything up, then return to the rooftop and destroy the equipment.

Leave the Camp

Drop down the other side and take the escape route.

During the chase sequence, another quick-time event occurs involving an enemy soldier. This one’s got to work. Press B / Circle quickly to stop the guard from shooting at Bond.

Keep running and another QTE with the detonator will start. No matter what the player does, the result is the same.

After the last cutscene you will unlock the achievement:

Icebreaker 1.
His Majesty’s Secret Service.

The next chapter moves to MI6 headquarters.

There’s not much to explore here, so follow Moneypenny to the office. Sit down when you are told and talk to Pansonby if you want more talk.

There are no major story effects from dialogue options during this section, so feel free to pick whatever answers you want before you meet with M.

Leave the office after the meeting and follow Moneypenny to the elevator.

Then a series of cutscenes bring the story to Malta, where Bond’s official training begins.
