Marriagetoxin – Episode 12 Recap And Review 2026

Marriagetoxin Chapter 12 brings one of the series’ most exciting fights as Gero finally shows the true extent of his bloodline. Having survived several close calls, his body changes and he gains a dangerous new power that changes the fight against Dogo forever.

Gero Enters a New Stage

Gero’s mentor explains at the start of the chapter that those of his bloodline become more powerful when they find themselves in situations where they are close to death. Gero’s body has finally moved on to a new stage of development after all the times he put himself in danger looking for a wife

The difference is instant.

Dogo attacks again, and Gero knocks him down easily. This proves that the balance of the fight has changed. Dogo is still strong but soon realizes that Gero is not the same opponent he fought earlier.

Dogo Man’s Strongest Forms Unleashed

Dogo uses his animal-based powers to create multiple mole arms that tunnel underground and attack from all directions. Gero’s new speed makes it impossible for an opponent to overwhelm him with his technique.

Refusing to give up, Dogo turns into something else, stronger, and summons dozens of rampaging animal arms. But it’s chaotic on the battlefield, yet Gero dodges every attack, calmly.

This chapter was a great display of how far Gero has come. Now he dictates the pace of the fight, no longer fighting for survival.

The Power of Corporal Koduku

The biggest reveal is when Gero sheds his gloves.

His body is covered in blue markings as he activates Corporal Kodoku, a deadly toxin that kills anything it comes in contact with. The effect begins to immediately affect Dogo’s arms, causing them to decay.

Realizing the danger, Dogo severs his own limbs to stop the poison from spreading.

Even then, he will not accept defeat. Once again he transforms into a monster, this time into something far more demonic than animalistic. Still, even his last form is no match for Gero.

Gero touches Dogo and ends the fight with an infection.

The Coming of the Masters

Just as Dogo is about to exact revenge on Gero’s friends, help arrives.

Arashiyama has returned with the other Masters, having convinced them to intervene. Together they calm the monsters within Dogo and stop his violent rampage.

The Masters’ support not only saves Kinosaki, but also shows that Gero is no longer fighting alone.

Dogo’s Past Is Finally Revealed

The chapter also discusses Dogo’s childhood.

When he was young, his clan leader gave him a bat instead of acknowledging him as a future successor. Dogo took this as a rejection and grew to resent his family.

Eventually his need to prove his worth sent him down a dark path, turning against his own clan.

The backstory does give us a reason for his motivations, although it does seem a little short compared to other characters in the series.

A New Threat Emerges

Gero is surprisingly willing to let Dogo live. He manages the effects of the poison and keeps his enemy alive.

Dogo and Byakko try to escape, hoping they can start over again but their plans are cut short when a giant wolf suddenly captures them.

The chapter ends with the arrival of the current family head, Tonako Dogo. She appears calm and collected, apologising for her brother’s behaviour whilst suggesting the Dogo family has plenty more secrets to unveil.

Closing Words

Chapter 12 of Marriagetoxin works because it finally gives Gero a power that is as good as the abilities wielded by his enemies. His evolution not only makes him stronger, but allows for future growth and creative battles.

Dogo’s backstory could have been explored more but the addition of Tonako brings a new sense of intrigue and sets up the next chapter of the story.

4 out of 5 stars

This is one of the strongest chapters of the arc, with Gero’s awakening, the end of the Dogo battle, and the arrival of Tonako.
