Ji-yoon finally finds out why Si-woo has been trying to meet her, clearing up the episode’s biggest misunderstanding.
He tells her he is heading up a special task force for a new refrigerator project and wants her on the team. He was kicked out of planning, but the president himself put him in charge of this new project.

Manager Ko makes bad decisions and the workplace storyline gets stronger.
He rejects a better mic design just to keep control, frustrating Ji-yoon and getting in the way of her work. The episode also shows how he treats his employees especially No-ah who is facing personal issues and incessant pressure at work.
When No-ah is sick, Manager Ko accuses her of avoiding work. Finally, Ji-yoon calls him out and accuses him of workplace harassment and demands that her co-worker be shown respect.

Later, Si-woo tells the truth about his fight with Manager Ko. He admits he has come across corruption with faulty parts but never enough evidence to expose it.
He also says he has been following Ji-yoon’s work for years. He likes her talent, her drive, her ideas and believes she should get more opportunities in the company.

Ji-yoon returns home and nearly hands in her resignation, but finds notes Si-woo had left next to her ideas in a notebook. His encouragement helps her realize that she has been holding herself back.## Ji-yoon Chooses
The next morning, Ji-yoon finally makes a decision.
